Contributor Spotlight
The Contributor Spotlight award recognizes one extraordinarily talented contributor each month from February through December. Nominations may come from any member of the Yahoo! contributor community, including peers and staff. A panel of Yahoo! judges chooses each month's winner. Content published to any Yahoo! site may be taken into account in determining winners. The contributor's history of publishing and community involvement may be considered as well. Each month's winner represents a shining example of success, using our publishing platform to create great content; build a following; and to amplify his or her voice, reaching Yahoo!'s audience of millions.
Each honoree receives a profile badge along with a $500 prize!
Content Spotlight
Each month from February to December, we choose five outstanding pieces of content as winners of our Content Spotlight awards. Content published on any Yahoo! site is eligible, and any member of the community may nominate content. Winning pieces should display the ideal characteristics of Yahoo! Contributor Network content, including, among other traits: strong voice, compelling subject matter, authority, sound structure, Web-friendliness, sharability, and audience appeal. Winners are selected in the month following publication; in other words, for awards announced in August, content published in July is eligible.
Contributors who publish a Content Spotlight winning piece receive a profile badge and a $100 prize!
