Right now I live in Pittsburgh, and I should note that this is a great place to live. This city has class, culture, and an insatiable appetite for music.I came here to do my MLIS at the University of Pittsburgh's iSchool. I'll have a specialization in archives when I'm done. My education curriculum pretty much just consists of reading more than humanly possible, writing, and discussing archives and information. I come from a history background and started with a scholarship position working in Pitt's archives, but I've abandoned that since I realized I'm technologically proficient. Basically, I've gone digital--web development, programming, and social media. Believe it or not, we use these things to mitigate access to all kinds of collections and records. I live in a fascinating world, and I wish that I could have seen Jimi Hendrix play a gig.
