Maya Bell
A creative writer with many passions, Maya has previously developed grants for a non-profit organization and worked in the financial and banking industries. She has written articles for Northeastern Illinois' student newspaper, "The Independent"and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Speech/Communications minor.
Maya currently volunteers with the Open Books literacy program as a reading "Big Buddy" to elementary school children, which helps them to boost their reading skills, fluency and comprehension. Some of Maya's passions are interior design, travel, fashion, reading and writing.
She spends her free time as an amateur photographer, blogger, and religiously reads the new-releases of her favorite author, Sandra Brown. Maya is looking forward to the completion of her first novel.
