Nicole Couture
My name is Nicole, I am 24 years old. Born and raised in Vergennes Vermont and through a complex chain of events I currently live in Arthur Illinois. From 2002-2004 I attended the Walden Project, gaining literary and experience based education through the inspiration of Henry David Thoreau. I graduated high school in 2004 and began attending the Community College of Vermont taking various english courses. since then I have worked for both a federally funded Housing Authority in Champaign County Illinois as well as a local well known property management company Green Street Realty. After being laid off without cause (other than personal indifference) I decided to return to school. I currently attend Parkland College on a full time basis, although I have yet to decide my major I have reconnected with my roots of writing thanks to my mandatory English 101 course. I hope to graduate sometime in the near future and make contributing to my community through writing a regular part of my life. In May of this year I will be getting married to a wonderful man, one who has given me unwaivering support through all of my transitions. I have a lot to look forward to and I am hopeful that having the Contributor Network as an outlet will prove to be a great jumping off point for many things to come.
