Loretta Corrigan
I am a published freelance writer and photographer. My articles, stories, and photography have been published in various national magazines including trade magazines and a college textbook. I also enjoyed writing weekly poetry for a local newspaper.
My most prestigious accomplishment was having a photograph of my Scottish Fold, Benji, appear on the cover of Cat's Magazine. My award winning photographs of wildlife, children, cats, and lighthouses have appeared on many calendars. My photos of Lake Erie lighthouses have been sold in retail shops throughout Northern Ohio. My love of writing has evolved into writing reviews for Epinions and View Points.
I am married and have a daughter and granddaughter who live out of state. I was the proud owner of three cats, Peanut, Butter and Jelly. Sadly, Butter passed away recently.
My husband and I were former owners of a chain of drycleaners and a laundry, retiring approximately four years ago. I was also employed as a medical secretary and transcriptionist throughout the years working for various hospitals and physicians.
Now, I spend most of my day researching, writing and shooting photographs.
