I am an educator and former attorney with a variety of interests. I work from my home while taking care of my father, who has Parkinson's disease. We have 2 cats, a Wii and antenna TV. If they ever enact and use an "Internet kill switch" it will devastate me. I like science fiction, urban fantasy and steampunk. I am interested in how the media and laws change as new technology develops. I am the kind of person who feels compelled to push buttons marked "Do not touch" and I have been distracted by shiny objects. I think that life is, in fact, like a box of chocolates, but I suspect that someone may have licked all the good pieces before I saw the box.
