T. Mastro
My life has been spent around airplanes and airports. After the Army and getting married I started working for United Airlines and have been in the industry now for over 45 years. I now teach people how to fuel those big planes. I love working around them and enjoy teaching and meeting new students. I have always told stories to my friends and neighbors even as a child growing up in Chicago. My grandchildren would ask me to tell them a story at the drop of a hat and I would tell them one making it up as I went along. Writing short essays and stories has come easy to me because of it. Although I am getting up in years I still am working, doing what I love, teaching the new fuelers what I have learned and trying to instill a sense of importance and responsibility in the job. I look foreword to introducing my stories to all who enjoy them and hope that this will become for me a new beginning.
