Dani Smith

Dani Smith

Dani is the youngest of eight children. Her mother was a stay at home mom and her father, like many fathers of that generation put in many hours. She realized her family was poor when she went to school and noted that no one else dressed like she did. Other children got new clothes while she wore her hand me downs. Around her junior year in high school, she picked up a part time job and started buying her own clothes. Growing up in poverty taught her to be her own person and thus, care for herself. Today she runs two businesses. Writing was always a career choice she wanted to follow. A few years ago she sat down and wrote and wrote and wrote. She has been attempting to get her first novel published and knows that someday her dream will come true. She finds great peace in working for herself. Read her work to find out more about her.
