Jay Kaplan

Hi, I'm Jay Kaplan. I am the Head Writer, Lead Analyst, Segment Producer and Post-Production Video Editor for "On The Sportslines". OTSL is a TV show focusing on the New York-Area and National Sports scenes. The show is shot in Manhattan, aired live and then uploaded to the web. I have been working for the show since 2002. The show also has a blog that I am the Administrator and Editor for as well as one of it's regular contributors. Those contributions will now be available here on Yahoo. I root for all New York teams (hey, I was born and raised here), but my favorites are the Yankees, Steelers, Sixers, Rangers, St. John's (Class of '92) & North Carolina basketball, USC & Michigan football. There's nothing I love more than combining my love of sports with my love of writing. Turning a phrase, especially a sports one is one of my favorite things to do.
