Jerry Rivers

Jerry Rivers was born in a small Missouri town, Mexico, only a few miles from the home town (Florida) of his favorite wit and author, Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain).

He has enjoyed teaching secondary English and mathematics in the Golden State of California for several years. Jerry loves to play basketball and tennis for recreation, and has taught/coached tennis professionally. Writing is a pleasing avocation for him, and he has written about topics of many interests: travel, science, paranormal experiences, mathematics, world events, nutrition and fitness, humorous anecdotes, interesting people, and occasionally he enjoys writing about just weird events, people and creatures.

Presently living in the Philippines with his wife, Mariane, and son, Mac, he enjoys spending time with them. He says he's fortunate that they have the patience in teaching him the language, history and culture of this beautiful country.
