I was born in the south of England but grew up in West Yorkshire. I loved school and moved to Nottingham in 2005 to pursue a degree in English Studies. I fell in love with Old English and continued at university to gain my MA in Old English Studies in 2009.
After a year working in the IT industry as a print product manager, I started working at the university. I love my job.
I live in a shared house with my boyfriend of five years and two friends. My abiding passions are folk music, theatre, literature and baking. I love nothing more than catering for a buffet for 50 people!
