Cheryl Blackerby
Cheryl Blackerby is a writer and photographer based in West Palm Beach, Fl. Her stories have run in The New York Times, The Miami Herald, The Chicago Tribune, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, The Toronto Globe and Mail, The St. Petersburg Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Houston Chronicle and others. She was travel editor at The Palm Beach Post.
She was executive editor and writer/photographer for travel books including "Destination Belize" (2010; 180 pages), "Destination Riviera Maya" (2009; 116 pages), "Destination Jamaica" (2011; 175 pages) and the 2010 editions of Montego Bay Guide, Negril Guide and Kingston Guide. She wrote for "Fodor's Bahamas 2011."
Recent assignments include the 2011 guidebooks "Our Jamaica" and "Experience Bermuda," published by The Miami Herald/HCP Aboard.
