Rodney Russell
Builder, Inventor, Musician and Dad, Rodney Russell was born in Rapid City South Dakota and has been building business and homes for 30 years. Hobbies include freelance writing, poetry, writing and performing music on a 6 string acoustic guitar, travel, gardening and inventing. Rodney has been a Realtor, Property Manager, Master Carpenter, Home Inspector and founder of several successful businesses, currently the founder and managing member of Sol-Nest LLC, a solar home and lifestyle company. He invented a housing utilities integral core that was presented to the White House for disaster response in Haiti, and is currently working on proposals requested from FEMA for the same method in the United States. Alternative building methods and alternative energy has always been a passion for him, and remains both a business focus and hobby.
