Harley Pruett

Harley Pruett is a freelance writer who has contributed hundreds of articles to local newspapers and online magazines. He is the recipient of 22 editor's choice awards, has 12 first place finishes in national short story and creative writing contests. Harley began his writing career with the US Army where he served as a combat journalist. After his time in service he attended Seattle Central College where he earned an Associates Degree in Journalism. He considers himself a lifelong student of both creative writing and journalism and is going to school part time, and expects to upgrade his degree to a Bachelors by 2013.
