I have long experience as a writer and copy-editor both online and in traditional newspaper journalism, including The Times. In addition, I have worked in PR and for seven years ran my own successful business, mostly writing and designing customer-facing magazines. Clients included some major brands '" British Aerospace, Sharp Electronics, Carlsberg, and Cincinnati Milacron's UK plastics division.
I am based in England but work internationally and in fact most of my client base is in the U.S. So when I take a commission the client can choose whether they want it in U.K. English or U.S. English.
Photography has always been my hobby so offering it as an additional service was the natural thing to do and has worked well. I've had hundreds of pictures published online, in newspapers or magazines, or in client publications.
As for me personally, I'm married with two grown-up daughters, a dog and a rabbit. I'm an incurable student, with one degree from the Open University and another under way with Oxford Brookes University. I'm also teaching myself first century Greek.
