Mary is a lover of History and Hollywood, and a huge fan of L.A. Kings Hockey! She is a Yahoo! Featured Contributor in Arts and Entertainment, and writes five Movie Beats, including a weekly summary of Hollywood movie events in Los Angeles, local screening quote roundups, Awards season articles and an Awards Tweet beat! She lives in the suburbs northeast of Los Angeles.
She proudly obtained a JD degree from Loyola Law School, a BA from California State University, Northridge with a major in History, and an AA degree from Glendale Community College. She is the first in her family to graduate from college.
Mary has worked as a public servant and trial attorney with the Los Angeles County District Attorney s Office and as a civil rights attorney. She has also worked in the private sector as an office manager/finance administrator, as well as a small-business entrepreneur and computer consultant.
She has been married for over 30 years to the love of her life, and has two adult children. She also has been lucky to be adopted by a dog named Stella, or as we affectionately call her, the amazing half dog-half alien being.
Mary has published numerous articles in newspapers and on the internet. She is currently writing a romance novel with her sister Tracy, and an action/adventure novel of her own. She also has a weekly radio show on the internet, The Mary and Tracy Show, with regular co-host and guest Noreen Brown on BlogTalkRadio. The show is currently focusing on the upcoming Hockey season, and the L.A. Kings. Other topics we have covered are Food and Lifestyle, and Commentary on Current Events.
