I have spent much of my working life in the fields of Manufatureing, printing and construction with the last 3 years in Flexographic printing specifically. My experiance in these industries has exposed me to many social and economic issues. Most recently the plight of unemployment.
Self sufficient was the phrase that described it best in my mind. My self identity was always linked to the ability to provide for both myself and my family.
Recently "Self sufficient" was taken away from me and I am now taking a long, long look in that figurative mirror.
Looking to the past isn't possible. I can only see the uncertainty that is the future and look in awe at the possibilities that lay before me.
