Renford

Renford is the author of 13 books, 2 of which also have workbooks and Power Point Presentations. All are based in metaphysical studies. He is the founder of the Institute of Applied Metaphysics, a three degree level personal development program, and IAMPress, a publishing company specializing in work with authors who want to maintain ownership of their work. His personal ministry is called COR (Church of Revelation) and is an online worldwide ministry. Details on these organizations can be found at www.IAM-COR.org. Renford created the E-Zine (magazine) Lightways and has a series of talk shows on www.blogtalkradio.com/renford. Radio by Renford encompasses The Searcher's Road Map Show, The KNOW Show and IAM-WELL. New shows are planned. Production of The River of Life, a full length feature film based on the center piece poem in the book by the same name will go to the editors in the Spring of 2011.

Born James Renford Powell Jr., the author has been a life long student of the Bible. The eldest child of a Christian minister, he trained for the ministry and served during the war as a missionary teacher in South Vietnam. In his search for common ground with his students, he became a student of Eastern religions and philosophy. Where he had been taught to look for the differences and evangelize lost souls, his studies led him to the conclusion that there were certain principles common to all religions.

Renford remained abroad for 20 years, living, working and traveling throughout the Far East, the Middle East and Europe immersing himself in the Chinese and Arab cultures, their languages and religions. His studies of their ancient texts and cultures were not just book learning but live and up close. He has also been active in his study of Hebrew, Sumerian and Indian texts. He insists that his higher education commenced when he began his mission in South Vietnam in 1966.
