Bio includes: Author, Consultant, Mediator, Drama Therapist, Educator and Researcher. I write, edit and broadcast content for KBOO community radio and am a regular guest on KPSU radio. I use these skills to help at-risk youth/others find more 'Chances for Better Choices' (my project title). I am a member of the local Gang Violence Task Force and Portland Police Review Board. I am a mentor/educator for P:ear an art haven for street youth. My well-researched work demonstrates how creative expression can make life more wonderful for people struggling with addiction issues and other problems. I am an expert on using creative expression, drama therapy and creative writing as a tool for conflict resolution especially for at-risk youth in juvenile justice and on the streets. My book 'Needs' was published after work with at-risk youth in juvenile justice. Needs is on Amazon Kindle site, ISBN 978-1-4276-4477-0. 'Negotiating Shadows: Journey to the Sun' is in publication and will be out and for sell soon.
