Among many varied interests, sports journalism is my strongest passion. When I’m not writing as a columnist for Giants Football Blog (GFB), I’m often covering the New York Knicks or college basketball at Madison Square Garden, Hofstra University basketball on the Pride’s campus, or writing various articles on pro and college basketball and football, major league baseball, and pro hockey for New York Sports Day (NYSD).
In recent years, I wrote for and co-hosted a couple of weekly internet radio football shows for Football Reporters Online (FRO) and Pro Football NYC (PFNYC), the first of which covered the NFL and NCAA football, and the latter of which focused on New York Giants and New York Jets.
Prior to working with GFB, NYSD, FRO, and PFNYC, and now, collaborating with yet another acronym – YCN (the Yahoo! Contributor Network) – I graduated with honors from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, where I attended on a full scholarship after twice being selected to call play-by-play of New York Met games at Shea Stadium (which I still miss), first, with Ed Coleman, and again, with Joe Beningo, each of WFAN.
After that, I hosted and produced my own weekly online podcast for CAAZone (covering all football and mens college basketball teams in the Colonial Athletic Association), before I later covered a variety of sports, from high school to the pros, for The Queens Ledger (NY).
I like to offer the reader what he or she wants to see, so feel free to provide any sort of feedback you wish in the Comments sections after each article. Thanks for reading!
