Renee' is a married mother of two. Family is always her first priority. A Tax Specialist, specializing in small business and self-employment taxes, she actually enjoys the preparation of tax returns. Helping taxpayers find the best deductions to maximize their refund or reduce their amount owed is her main goal. She also has experience in retail management, customer service fields, and making custom quilts, wall hangings and purses.
For Renee', reading is a passion. Her eclectic reading interests range from the Bible to news, research articles, history, poetry, human interest, short stories, horror, suspense and romance (just to name a few). She has studied plants and herbs as a hobby for several years and learned of many edible, healthy and medically useful herbs. With the love of learning and reading combined she is almost always doing research on one subject or another and hopes to be able to turn some of that into written content for the benefit of others.
Since the age of 18 she has been one of the millions of people to suffer debilitating migraines and at age 25 was also diagnosed with Graves' Disease. Renee' also hopes to produce articles on these subjects that may provide insight to those recently diagnosed and/or their families, maybe even some new information for long time sufferers.
Passionate about the outdoors (especially in the spring) camping, fishing, boating, hiking nature trails and gardening are her favorite outdoor activities. Living in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains provides easy access to all of these activities. Believing that East Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places in the United States (if not the world), she feels very fortunate to live there.
Renee' believes that lending a helping hand to those in need (when capable) is a privilege and does so whenever possible.
