D.B. Harper

The only thing I've ever wanted to be is a writer. Up until now I have been very private about my work and have only been published in the Earth Tithe, a nature-based Lane Community College student publication. My primary focus is on nature-related essays, short stories (both non-fiction and fiction) and poetry. A lot of what I write is taken directly from my personal life and the adventures I have had over the years. While I have had my fair share of bumps in the road, I absolutely love my life!
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest almost all my life, with the exception of a few summers in Jackson Hole, WY. I currently reside in Springfield, OR with my wonderful husband Shawn and my adorable dog Ty. Blessed with a very supportive and loving family as well as a fantastic circle of friends, I am thankful everyday for these gifts!
