Val Carver lives in a suburb of Chicago with her two children and husband. With no formal writing experience, she's challenged herself to become a writer, sharing articles and blogs in regards to parenting, children, interior design and more. The added income has allowed her to stay home and flourish at her most important role: Mom. That's not to say that Val is all work and no play. She loves reality TV, scary movies and a tall glass of wine.
