Paul Kuehn
Paul was born and grew up in Wisconsin. After earning a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1966, he served in the Navy for almost four years. Overseas assignments in Taiwan and Japan awakened Paul's interests in East Asian and Southeast Asian languages and culture which has continued to the present. Paul knows the Chinese Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Thai languages, After finishing a career with the federal government in 2007, Paul moved to Bangkok, Thailand, where he is now teaching English as a foreign language, writing, and studying about languages.
