Carrie Dahle
A few years ago I began pursuing my dream of becoming a writer. I always wanted to be a writer. In fact in my college days I would tell friends "One day I am going to write for that magazine." I honestly thought that was what I was going to do. Then like many others, life got the best of me. Instead of going after my dream I began taking jobs that actually paid. In time, those jobs became my life and life led down a path I did not expect.
I got married (not to the man I should have), had two children and worked on my so-called career. Unhappy and living life in a way that was entirely opposite of who I am at my core, I began searching for something more. Basically, I began to search for the real me.
I got divorced, ventured out on my own and soon fell in love with the love of my life. He was no one new. Actually he was my first love. We had met just prior to me starting high school and dated all the way into college. He was perfect for me. He knew me better than anyone, and he knew how to love me the way I needed to be loved.
Now we are married and have a combined family of 6 (my two children and his two children, though they are ours as far as we are concerned). We are extremely happy. I have found the "real me," and I could not be happier.
Along the way to finding myself, I rediscovered my joy for writing. Actually I rediscovered a lot of things, not only do I enjoy writing but I am quite the artist. With finding my passion for writing again, I started submitting articles and blogs to various publishers. I soon began getting responses as well as job offers. At this point, I have written hundreds of articles and blogs. I have been fortunate enough to have many of them published in my own name.
Now with the help of my fabulous husband, I have started Day to Day Woman a blog for women just like you. Women who enjoy family relationships, healthy living, fashion, home decor and so much more. Sometimes I will make you laugh. Some times I will make you cry
