Tristan's passion for animals inspires his writing. Every penny he earns writing for Associated Content is donated to Hounds of the Heartland, the Central Oklahoma chapter of Greyhound Pets of America where he is a frequent volunteer and board member.
By day, Tristan is a financial professional. But in his free time he loves to spend time with Cami and Calvin, his retired racing greyhounds, as well as his chihuahua Scooter, Italian greyhound Bogart, and cat Simon. Usually there is a foster dog in the mix as well.
Tristan enjoys writing about all aspects of pet care and health, as well as animal-related non profits. His personal experiences with his own pets and his work with non profits both inform his writing.
Tristan also enjoys writing sports commentary - particularly for his hometown Oklahoma City Thunder, alma mater Oklahoma Sooners, and transplant Kansas City Chiefs - and fancies himself a fantasy football guru.
