April Delphinium
I'm a former physics lab teacher, writer, wife, and homeschooling (online public school learning coach) mother of four. My honors thesis was about studying the denaturation of protein using laser analysis, and I also had the honor of working at an eleutherobin synthesis organic chemistry lab for a year, working on a cancer cure. I have a writing gig with 501 Life Magazine, starting in August 2011. In my free time, I like to go bicycling with my family of six, study my Bible and find ways to save money. I'm writing my first novel, with the editing expertise of a good friend and local newspaper/freelance writer. I grew up in the vicinity of Seattle, WA and enjoy most things that remind me of home - tulips, coffee, Birkenstocks, salmon, backpacking...although I have learned to really appreciate Arkansas, with it's green hills, majestic cliffs and sincere people.
