Shana Augillard
Originating from Jefferson, Louisiana, Shana was born to the first African-American family in Shrewsbury to attend college. Education and learning has always been important to me. My background is diverse. I have served in the U.S. Military for sixteen years. My role was that of a Operations Officer. I was a Clinic Manager. In the area of Education, I have taught for 14 years and am certified to teach in three states. I recently achieved a Texas Principal Certification. I teach at Houston Community College in person. I was born in Louisiana and have lived in Texas, Missouri and Virginia. I am a lifelong learner and I hope to see you through to that point. I am the author of a book, "Hurricane Katrina, a Spiritual Journey". I have also written many articles in various magazines and on the internet. Currently I am a Yahoo Contributing Writer. The most thrilling thing about my life is that I am the parent of two wonderful children, ages 17 and 12.
