Having excelled academically while at Southeastern Louisiana University, I endeavored to effect change at a local level by running for State Representative. My sudden interest in politics further spurred my writing to advocate local and national policy ideas as a volunteer columnist in local papers.

I am a Rating Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration. I adjudicate Veteran's compensation and pension disability claims.

When I am not at work, I enjoy raising my family, and I am the proud new father of an 11 month old girl, Valentina. As a busy new father, I try as much as I can to stay up to date with the current state of affairs, and I constantly look to update my knowledge on world and economic conditions. I am always looking for ways in which I can utilize my communication skills to influence policy ideas at a local level so we can move our city in a more positive direction. As a recent New Orleans citizen, I have an interest and new goal in potentially influencing my community through politics. I look forward to using my talents and working with other members in the community to help advance ideas so that New Orleans can progress towards becoming a city of economic ingenuity, grounded in a safe and secure environment, while retaining her status for cultural richness and diversity.
