With a passion for interviewing and a love of entertaining, Brett Chukerman is quickly becoming a go-to talent for television, red carpet and all things hosted!
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Brett moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. After graduating from USC, Brett acted in a slew of independent films before finding his true passion as an on-air host and presenter.
Brett’s hosting career started for The Auction Network traveling all over the United States – covering live auctions and interviewing participants in the midst of all the bidding action. He was given the opportunity to host his first live event, presenting the 3-day Battlestar Galactica Auction for NBC/Universal. The auction was a multi-million dollar success, and Brett’s love of hosting live events was born.
From live auctions to live on the red carpet, Brett has found great success in online, interactive Hollywood events. In 2010, Brett became the first host for Oscar.com’s live red carpet coverage of the Academy Awards, produced by ABC. From comedian Steve Carell to pop superstar Jennifer Lopez to director Quentin Tarantino, Brett’s interviews were witty and insightful. He then went on to host the live carpet pre-show for the 2010 Country Music Association Awards for ABC.com, as well as several live film premieres.
In addition to his work in the entertainment field, Brett has found another home on-air: as a show host for HSN, the popular, innovative and exciting multi-channel retailer in the United States. His experience with television retailing began on BSkyB, where he was a host on two of Great Britain’s shopping networks – Beverly Hills TV and My V Channel. Brett has a passion and knowledge for electronics, health and fitness products, home goods, and more. As a regular host on HSN, Brett is seen live in over 9 million homes
