Brianne Nemiroff
For me to write about myself is hard because I am incredibly versatile. I grew up as an athlete who did softball, karate, dance, and gymnastics. But alongside of being a jock, I excelled in writing and music classes.
Later entering my teen years, I started to widdle down my activities to keep my sanity. I became the starting pitcher for the Varsity softball, 2nd chair violist of the Chamber Orchestra, and got a weekend retail job.
Entering college, I chose to be a music composition major and realized that it didn t make me as happy as it should. I realized my passion was in entertainment. I wanted to be a part of storytelling for television and film. I added a film degree and started writing and producing films.
Everything changed in my senior year of college. I gained a position as the Lifestyles Editor of The Pacifican and began to interview musicians. I fell in love with the job. From there, I learned of an opportunity in D.C. where I would finish my undergrad career and also work at WJLA-ABC7. There I interviewed musicians including Jordan Knight and Hot Chelle Rae.
Now, I am currently a freelance entertainment journalist and write articles for a couple different markets.
