Eve Elliott
Eve Elliott is an award winning newspaper reporter and writer. Her newspaper career covers reporting and writing in diverse areas such as county government and elections, disaster coverage of fires, flooding and tsunami warning awareness. She has covered environmental issues such as forest management plans, beach cleanup and county development along coastal regions. She is well known for her insightful coverage of social issues including suicide, the homeless, teenage drinking, elder care and poverty.
Elliott has volunteered in battered women and teen runaway shelters, and for many years taught moral development and life skills to prisoners in the state Department of Corrections system. She brings acute discernment and life experience to her writing.
