W.C. Thompson
W.C. Thompson was born in legendary Flint, Michigan and was soon on his way to becoming a child of the 80's. After earning his degree at Michigan, he escaped the cold by relocating to Southern California. Two years in the bright lights, big smog of Los Angeles was enough, so W.C. drove South to test out Orange County. He has worked in cable TV, finance, manufacturing, bartending, and the movie business (#1 cashier of the 1991 summer blockbuster season). He has appeared at The Grammys, World Series, Stanley Cup, Rose Bowl, and MTV Movie Awards with very distant seats. He also danced in nothing but his underwear and various servings of hot dog toppings to win concert tickets, fortunately before Facebook existed. Now in a more settled status, W.C. and his wife have two girls and two boys, none named with celebrity hubris; these parents now know that trouble and expense grow exponentially, not mathematically, with each child. His distractions include coaching youth teams, beach camping, fantasy sports, writing, and bad humor. W.C. wants you to prevent boredom fires.
