I was born in NYC in 1955. That makes me a pure baby boomer . I have a Masters in Tourism and Travel Management from NYU and a Bachelors degree in French and Spanish from the Stony Brook University in NY. For 20 years, I enjoyed a globe-trotting career in airline and hotel sales. Then I became a teacher of French, Spanish, and ESL in an inner-city high school. After 7 years, strange symptoms led to a diagnosis of ALS/Lou Gehrig s Disease, which put me in a wheelchair and stole my ability to speak. I am forever Forced to Sit Still and Shut Up , so I write. Oh, and I also help rescue rabbits and I am the proud mom of Chelsea, my gray rescued house rabbit. I m quite a foodie and truly live you are what you eat and I love to study history and culture, and watch indie films.
