A career in Construction Management has enabled me to live and work in throughout the UK, and on projects in the US, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Libya, Nigeria and Venezuela.
Away from the construction game, I'm an author of books on sailing and saltwater fishing (specifically 'Fishing Afloat' and 'The RYA Guide to Offshore Sailing') and a magazine contributor to publications in the UK, the US and the Caribbean.
Recently I've built my first website http://www.go-saltwater-fishing.com and plan to build others in the future.
I'm a long distance sailor, having built my own sailboat ('Alacazam', an 11.5m wood-epoxy, water-ballasted cutter) and sailed her from the UK to France, Spain, Portugal, around the Mediterranean, south to the Canary Islands, The Cape Verde Islands, Madeira and across the Atlantic Ocean to my current cruising ground, the Leeward and Windward Islands of the Caribbean.
