T. D. Patterson

A native of California by birth with a move to a logging town in the Pacific Northwest early in childhood. Back to California in the early 60's. Involved in athletics throughout junior and senior high. Enrolled in college but the Vietnam War encouraged an enlistment in the United States Navy. After a 4 year tour I emerged with the honorary title of "Golden Shellback." After a year of construction related work a career change was in order. With a technical degree in dental technology from 1980, a 31 year career was recently completed. I now reside in Thailand and enjoy studying the Thai language and great culture of this fascinating country.

Grew up in Southern California in the 60's enjoying the beaches, sports and the great music of the times. Early in college my draft notice motivated an enlistment in the U.S Navy. A four year tour ended with an added bonus of becoming a "Golden Shellback" while onboard ship in the Pacific ocean. A year or so of work in construction related work enabled a move to attend a technical college in Washington State. Upon graduation a career of 31 years as a dental techician. I enjoyed living and traveling in Central America for nearly a 2 year period. At present I am residing in Thailand and am currently studying Thai language and culture.
