Carmen worked as a reporter for The Daily Gleaner in Jamaica, WI, starting as a Trainee Journalist and then a Graded Reporter II (society and general assignments) at which point she left for the United States where to date she has written a fictional sports book, The Quarterback, and is now finishing a fictional murder mystery book, Where are the Tourists? as well. In the past, Carmen has written sociological commentary content published by Gannett Westchester Newspapers in Westchester County, New York and currently writes web content that covers diversified topics of interest. She is also a published poet.
