Kwame Coston El
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he became a lifelong boxing fan after his father took him to the Golden Gloves tournament at the old Madison Square Garden in the mid 1960's. His other passions are music and poetry. He wanted to be an amateur/professional boxer however life took him down a different path as a professional jazz musician and poet. He has performed in Europe, Asia, Canada, Barbados and Bermuda. Today he is on a self-imposed hiatus from touring in order to care for his parents.
