IMEE ROBERTS
IMEE ROBERTS is a published author of an inspirational book, Barefooted Soul. A prolific songwriter, Imee has created IMEE Music & Imagination to showcase some of her songs. Her story-based music animation provides a glimpse into her character portrayed by IMEE in a number of animated music videos she has produced and published.
With over four dozen songs composed and produced in a short period of time, her songwriting credits include English, Filipino and Spanish songs. Her song, We are the Children of the World, has also been translated in over a dozen languages. She is a member of Broadcast Media, Inc. and a Grammy voting member.
A recipient of numerous awards, Imee has also served senior executive positions in a number of organizations in the Washington, DC Metropolitan region. Imee is the first female Filipino-American to receive the prestigious Ellis Island Medals of Honor with her name listed in the US Congressional Record.
From abject poverty to living her dreams, IMEE shares her passion from the heart. Though she does not have music background she continues to pursue what she is passionate about. Imee joins Yahoo as a Contributor with the hope that she could leave a lasting legacy through her music and writing.
