Donna Normand
I grew up in the deep South with a Southern Belle mama and a Cajun daddy. Followed my hospitality roots into the Bed & Breakfast business for a few years before becoming a stay-at-home mom for the next 20 years. The working bug bit again and I opened my own restaurant in a small, bustling town where grubby cowboys ate next to sweet grandmas in their Sunday pearls and everyone came by for a "big ole glass of sweet tea". When I was diagnosed with hemiplegic migraines and was forced to quit working 18 hours a day, I decided to finally get my degree and went back to school as a single mom with three kids working two jobs and working on two majors.....Hotel and Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts. My loves are God, my children, family, friends, cooking, painting, and acting. I hope to one day own another restaurant based on the concept of the family farm where everything I cook and sell is something I have raised or grown myself or from a farm nearby. The South is well known for our hospitality and I love working, playing, praying and living here.
