Kareem Ruth
Kareem has been putting ideas to paper for as long as he can remember. When he's not writing, he's reading, or teaching, or making music or analyzing films. In other words, he's trying to be a Renaissance Man, while struggling with time management due to a creeping Netflix addiction.
Kareem writes about music technology at www.digitalaudioworkshop.com
In addition to being a freelance writer, Kareem has been working as a DJ/Producer/Engineer for over 15 years. He has worked in some of Atlanta's finest studios making everything from gospel to house to hip-hop. Along the way, he has picked up a tip or two about music production from some of the best people making music today.
As a student of philosophy, Kareem is fascinated by cultural ideas and their development, and can be found (over)analyzing everything from comics to film to sports to technology.
In between freelancing and his studies, Kareem has been found working as a teacher of children between the ages of 4 and 18. He finds the two age groups equally engaging, despite a marked difference in height and bathroom-readiness.
