Ms. Herrington has a BA in Communications, AD in Journalism and 30 hours in a MBA/MSA program. She is a former investigative reporter who changed careers but never left writing behind. She was a Small Business Development Center Director and former retail sale manager. As a newspaper reporter she was a general assignments contributor but focused on investigative pieces. She later became an editor of special sections at the Houston Chronicle in Houston, TX.
