After experiencing a life that involved notable chaos and life-changing events, I soon learned that my life wasn't particularly unusual or different from other people's lives. Upon discovering this, I wasn't sure whether I was elated that I wasn't the only person who had run head on into turmoil and disruption, or disappointed because I wasn't that unique person I'd begun to believe myself to be that set me apart from everyone else. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, my life began normally enough with my father, mother, four brothers and one sister. However, becoming a teenager ushered in the rude awakening that life isn't a bed of roses and it would be to my detriment if I continued to view things through the rose-colored glasses I so willingly chose to wear. Suddenly, I found myself traveling at breakneck speed down the road of time, crashing, falling and sometimes even burning with every passing event.
In any event, I learned that it's the culmination of all the events and situations in our lives that make us who we are and shape our destiny. I've always leaned in the creative and inspirational direction which led me to the study of drama, singing and dance for a good portion of my life. I've also enjoyed exercising my imagination through reading and writing and this drove me to pay close attention in all of my English classes, permitting me to perfect my skills in both of these areas.
After years of working as an Executive Administrator in different business fields, I'm now turning my full attention to establishing my writing career. Persistence and discipline is now the name of the game as I continue my relentless pursuit of one of my dreams. Of course, there's no getting away from the school of life no matter how old we become or what we may encounter. Therefore, I remain prepared by bracing myself for whatever is to come while striving to reach my goal of becoming a full-time author.
