Gerald Wescott
Born in Massachusetts in 1952, the US Navy made me an electronic tech and eventually took me far south to Jacksonville, Florida and put me on the aircraft carrier, USS Saratoga in 1975. I only stayed a sailor for five more years, but I'm still here in Jacksonville today. I've earned a BA in church ministries, been a high school teacher, and worked in computer hardware and software since then. I got halfway through a Masters degree in counseling before the last software gig ran out, and am now into Christian chalk art evangelism ... oh, and writing.
Too many hats? Ya think? Nah. I remember determining a couple of things in my childhood: 1) I wanted to be a problem child; and 2) I never wanted to get stuck for too long in a boring job. Well, success comes in many forms.
