Jasun served in the military before returning to school and graduating with a bachelor's degree in Education from North Georgia College and State University. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, and he has interned at a local news affiliate. He is currently working towards a graduate degree in English. Life as We've Known ItThis poem was written about the ever-growing rifts between cultures existing in today's society, and how humanity is weakened through our fears. It is a commentary about how we need to remember that we're not so different and then pass that message on.
