Mir Kaufman

I'm originally a midwest girl, moved to Southern Ca, in 1991. I've been divorced since 1995, mother of 1 son who turned 21 in June. My son was born with a genetic disease called Tuberous Sclerosis, which is a neurological disorder then can affect every major organ of the body. He has been impacted by having tumors in the brain and kidneys. He is my main focus, along with my family, boyfriend, pets, charities and social life. I'm a People person, love meeting new people and sharing my knowledge of the many different areas of my life. I have a wicked sense of humor, enjoy being flirtatious, witty with good banter from time to time. I'm a Gemini, which means I am easy going, creative, artistic and enjoy variety. I work part time for a financial advisor as well as being a volunteer for the San Diego Ride for Kids which supports the Pediatric brain Tumor Foundation of America. My son and I make awareness bracelets that we donate the proceeds from. You can often find me on the back of my boyfriends motorcycle on the weekends or at an event promoting and recruiting for the Ride for Kids. If not, I'm probably heading to Los Angeles for a weekend with my family. Being creative and sharing advice in the areas I have experience in is why I'm looking forward to participating in the contributor network. I look forward to diving in head first.

  • Thank You Sun
I feel so blessed to wake up every morning to the beauty of my world, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Thankful to be here, I want to recognize the importance of the sun and all it does for us, What would a day be with out the sun?
