Tice Swackhamer
I am a writer, editor, photographer and product developer. In a nutshell, I love to create. When I am not writing, I can be found researching and developing ideas for new products. My flagship product is Baby Draw, the original baby shower charades game.
My editorial background can best be described as eclectic, ranging from a career in the library market managing an editorial staff to working in Search at Yahoo!. Between the two I was Web Producer of the Family Channel at Women.com before it was purchased by iVillage. I am certain it was the fact that I was a mom that ultimately won me that job and kept the fires burning with new content. It was there that I gained a passion for writing about issues that concerned parents and families on topics as varied as education, children of divorce, celebrity moms and family pets.
btw - my nickname, Tice, is a shortened version of Patricia and is pronounced like the French city, Nice.
