About Ryan Sleeper

I am inspired daily by the brilliant and hard-working people surrounding us all. I am motivated to push the envelope where there is opportunity by messages in books such as Linchpin and from artists such as Tool.

It took me almost a decade and sampling both coasts to realize I had already found the best place for me'¦. Overland Park, Kansas. Fortunately, my stop on the east coast was Orlando, Florida '" home of the DeVos Sport Business Management program '" where I received my MBA and Master's of Sport Business Management. My stop on the west coast was San Francisco, California '" the place Al Gore invented the Internet '" where I cut my teeth learning online marketing.

If I had to choose one word to describe me, it would be grateful. I went to a top five sport business program in the country, live in one of the top ten cities in the United States, and work at one of the top ten places to work in Kansas City. I don't have any Internet proof, but I also have a top ten group of family and friends, so I try my hardest not to complain. If it makes you feel better, I do live in one of the ten most miserable sports cities.

About Online Sports Marketing Guy

OSM Guy, as in 'Å"Awesome' Guy, was invented as an outlet for my sports business passion. I have a lot to share, but my hope is that you will contribute, and that we can all grow in our sports business and/or online marketing careers together.

On my blog you can expect to find my commentary on current events in sports and sport business, reviews of products that may help your online marketing efforts, interviews with sports executives in my network, guest articles from people who know more than me, and videos of Donald Trump's hair.

If any of this sounds good to you, please read and comment on a couple of posts or connect with me further....
