Robert Curtis

Currently, I am the author of 17 books covering an array of subjects from poetry, psychology, religion, fiction, and the process of writing. I co-authored three of these books. My business experience is in the telecommunications industry spending 28 years with Qwest Communications before retiring in 2006. In those years, my experience with business writing was extensive, garnering me many accolades, special projects, and an all-expense paid, week-long trip to Maui during my 20th wedding anniversary year, which gained several points with my spouse. Good business writing does pay. During these years, I received a national award in journalism from the AFL-CIO. I also served on the Council of the City of Chandler Community Emergency Response Team from 2003 to 2008 as the Communications Chair, so I was able to give back to my community using those same writing skills. I live in Arizona where I spent the last 45 years. I am, as I mentioned, married with three children, one of whom received both his BS and MAE from the University of Phoenix, and another who received her MS in psychology from UoP. My youngest is attending college as a voice performance major. I have two grand-daughters, and a grandson. Additionally at my home live two canine Americans of nefarious lineage. I was the administrator of an international prize in poetry, I enjoy amateur astronomy, contemplating quantum mechanics, woodworking, am an avid shooter, photographer with a new book out, concrete sculptor, and a reader with voracious appetites.
