Jack Dollens
Born and raised in lovely Southern California, I've been working in the public school system as a custodian and maintenance/operations employee for 25 years. Been married for the duration of that time, no kids, two spoiled cats. At an early age, I took an interest in both politics and history, and my mother learned that sending me to my room for punishment meant that I could read some mundane article found in in the encyclopedia Britannica. Yeah, I was one of those weird kids. I also enjoy writing, and my work is often tinged with a bit of sarcasm and humor. Before coming here, I blogged on a few sites, and though I've been told I write pretty well, I'm my own worst critic. I've recently started my own blog, and my hope here is to entertain and put my own spin on politics and current events, as well as to hone my skills further.
